Our Mission

We are a team of engineers deeply passionate about the mechanical component design. We develop methodologies and tools to simplify and streamline the design phase.

Our History

Our group was born at the beginning of 2017 from the mechanical and aerospace engineering department (DIMEAS) of Politecnico di Torino, after having worked several years on high performance components with important companies in the automotive and aerospace fields.

GeDy TrAss was pre-incubated in April 2018 in I3P, the best public start-up incubator in the world. The company was founded in May 2019 and the recognition as Politecnico di Torino spin-off is undergoing.

Why us?

We believe that for a company it is fundamental to reduce costs and save time. For this reason we develop innovative tools and automatic algorithms and we offer consultancy support during the design phase of mechanical components.

What are we specialized in?

We are focused on topics related to design, testing and numerical simulations of materials, components and mechanical systems. We deal with powertrains, engine components and sustainable mobility via theoretical and analytical methods and by numerical methods and simulations validated by experimental tests on materials and components under investigation.

How do we work with our clients?

We meet directly our customers, we listen to their needs and we develop customized and innovative algorithms with the aim of solving their challenges.

What are our future plans?

We want to become a reference point for the growth of know-how matured in the field of university research.
